New Audi A5 and S5 revealed, replaces A4 globally | WION Drive
The Audi A4, which has been a part of Audi's small executive gas car lineup for 30 years, is being discontinued. The A4's role as Audi's gas sedan for middle managers will now be taken over by the new A5, a model previously known for its stylish coupes. The new A5 features an updated appearance, improved technology, and three engine options.
For those who prefer a sportier option, the S5 comes with a turbocharged 3-litre V6 engine producing 362 horsepower and is also partially electrified using the new 48-volt MHEV plus system. There are plenty of new features, such as dual MMI infotainment displays, option co-passenger display and adaptive damping. The new Audi A5 family will be launched in Germany later this year, with a starting price tag of EUR 45,200 for the base trim.
