Accessibility. Every problem in this game ultimately boils down to that word. The buy in price plus the demanding and complex systems at play in this game are too much to ask of any new player in the modern era. WoW originally stood out by being extremely casual friendly compared to it's competition during a time when MMOs were much more popular. As the state of the genre and gaming at large continues to evolve, Blizzard also needs to make changes.
There are obvious problems like the complete lack of mmr to go around on the arena ladder, but what I wanna talk about is something more foundational.
