Marnus Labuschagne sledges and banters with Rohit and Gill during the 3rd Test Match
India openers Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma were at the crease on Day 2 of the third Test against Australia in Sydney and they were asked a plethora of questions from Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne who was fielding at one of the close-in positions.
The Australians are known for their sledging and on Friday it was there once again for everyone to see.
Young Indian talent Shubman Gill was batting at the crease when Labuschagne tried to engage him in a conversation
Fielding at short leg, Labuschagne asked Gill: “Favourite player? Who’s your favourite player?”
Gill decided to reply to the Australian but did not reveal the answer as he said: “I’ll tell you after.”
Marnus Labuschagne, however, continued the conversation, “After the match? Sachin? Do you reckon Virat?”
This time the Indian opener said nothing.
In another instance in the video posted by cricket.com.au, Labuschagne asks Rohit Sharma, ‘What did you do in quarantine?’
But Rohit Sharma just turns around and can be seen getting ready to face the next delivery
