Session II: FORMWORK
BREAKING GROUNDS: Toward the 22nd Century
The 2021–22 Preston Thomas Memorial Symposium:
Celebrating the sesquicentennial of The Department of Architecture at Cornell and looking toward the next 150 years.
In 1871, the Department of Architecture was among the first departments founded at Cornell University, where "any person can find instruction in any study." Marking 150 years from its founding, the Department of Architecture announces BREAKING GROUNDS a three-part symposium, which will examine the foundations of interconnectedness alongside imagining the practice and pedagogy of architecture well into the future.
