Rice from Germany! | Harvesting with a combine harvester
Today's video is a little different.
Today I was at the Schmälzle potato farm in Schwaigern and was able to film the rice harvest there.
That's right: rice.
They sowed it in the spring to see if it was even possible here.
In the end, we can say, yes, it is possible, but only under certain conditions.
The first and most important requirement is water. The rice must not dry out, and this is only possible with irrigation technology.
