Installing DOUBLE RAILS and UPRIGHTS for placo - My TIPS for creating the structure
In this video, I show you how to build the placo structure using rails and studs. I also explain how to properly plan for the drywall installation, so that the sheets aren't cut vertically in the corners of doors and windows. The problem with this type of cutting is the appearance of cracks over time due to micro-vibrations when moving the doors and windows.
I also chose to create a structure with double studs, which will be reinforced in areas where furniture will be hung and in areas where wall tiles will be installed.
I also show you all my tools, including the concrete nailer and my crimping pliers (be careful with your fingers)!
