New research from the U.S. National Institute of Child Health and Human Development suggests that aspirin may be able to prevent some miscarriages. According to UPI, the study, published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, found that a daily low-dose aspirin could help prevent recurrent miscarriages. The study which involved over 1200 women between the ages of 18 and 40, found that aspirin counteracts inflammation which may lead to miscarriage. While more studies are need ed to determine the exact reason for it's effectiveness, experts say the treatment could easily implemented across the country to reduce the number of miscarriages.
