This video tutorial shows a Simple Method to Track Contact Form 7 Wordpress Events in Google Analytics 4 with Google Tag Manager
All you have to do is:
Open Google Tag Manager
Create a Tag with:
Tag Type: GA4 Event
Configuration Tag: Your GA4
Event Name: generate_lead
Create Trigger with:
Trigger Type: Element Visibility
Element Selector: .wpcf7 form.sent .wpcf7-response-output
When to fire this trigger: Once per page
Minimum Percent Visible: 1
Checkbox: Observer DOM Changes
