Football Manager 2023 has added licences for UEFA club competitions but some leagues, cups and tournaments, like the Premier League, La Liga, and the Euros do not have the real names.
Then there is Brazil, where not only are the league names like Serie A not real, but the club names are not used either!
In this guide, I will show you how to download and install a fix for the competition names on FM23....
AND I will show you the files you need to delete to get the real Brazilian club names
Locate the following folder:
(Windows/Steam) C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2022\data\database\db\2201\dbc\permanent
(Mac/Steam) [username]/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2022/database/data/db/2201/dbc/permanent
And delete the following files:
- brazil_kits.dbc
- forbidden names.dbc
- Licensing2.dbc
Start a new game and all competition names and Brazilian clubs will be correct!
