How to Paint WATERCOLOR in NEGATIVE ✨🎨

Negative painting involves painting around the main elements, enhancing the effect of depth and gradually revealing how the illustration comes to life.

Materials used:
✨ Arches 300 g/m² watercolor paper, 100% cotton
✨ Washi tape (masking tape or painter's tape)
✨ Watercolor brushes of various sizes: I used a cat’s tongue brush and round #10, round #0, and liner #0 brushes
✨ Vallejo liquid watercolors (Colors: navy blue, olive green, and coral red) You can use the watercolors of your choice.
✨ Mixing palette (preferably ceramic)
✨ Water
✨ Paper towels (for cleaning your brushes)
✨ Pencil and eraser
✨ White crayon or colored pencil
