Lights On Afterschool is a nationwide event hosted by the Afterschool Alliance to spotlight expanded learning programs and the powerful impact they have on children, families and communities.
California is a prominent leader in finding innovative ways to advocate for expanded learning programs. Through investments in ELO-P grants, California lawmakers work to guarantee that all children have access to affordable, high-quality afterschool programs through public funding efforts.
This year, Think Together will strive in “Igniting a Brighter Tomorrow” to ensure all students in California, particularly those from historically marginalized groups, are graduating from high school with all life options available.
