Allotment Days #63 Summer Harvests
Hi Everyone,
Hot weather still hasn't abated. Had a brief shower yesterday but nothing to speak of. Most things on the plot are being harvested now including tomatoes and carrots. The fruit this year is better than it's ever been. Probably in the region of 60 or so punnets to date and the summer raspberries haven't started yet. I'll be harvesting more fruit this weekend and guerkins for pickling. The need to water a couple of hours a day hasn't gone away either. Going through plenty of sun tan lotion too!😂
