Today I'm going to show you how to read an NFC tag with an iPhone. What you're going to need is a URL encoded NFC tag and an iPhone XS or newer. So what I'm showing you today is background tag reading. This means that your iPhone can read a tag that has a URL encoded to it without the use of a third-party app. Now, your iPhone can read other record types, however, you do need a third-party app. So let's get started. You're going to want to make sure that your iPhone is awake, meaning the screen is illuminated. This is where the NFC antenna is located. You're going to want to touch your phone to the tag in the upper left-hand corner. Then you're going to want to touch the popup to launch the URL. And that's it. It's easy to read an NFC tag with your iPhone. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Make sure that you like and subscribe.
