Was it easy?: Wearing the hijab for 5 months update!
(ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ♥ Hello! I've been wearing the hijab for a few months now and it's such an interesting experience. A lot of back-and-forth pushes with nobody else except my own mind.
Are you thinking about putting a scarf on or know somebody who is considering it? This video can be a practical mindset that you can share with them. Too often, these ideas of halal/haram are swimming in our minds - we want to be the best for ourselves and God, which means sometimes hiding what makes us beautiful to preserve what's our little secret hehe. I like to think of it this way: I'm a freakin' gem. Only those who can afford me can see me. (*flips hijab* *sips tea*). (Yeah sis, this confidence was cultivated. a conclusion I've came to after being taken for granted... many times LOL).
but also, with hijab you can:
♡ style your outfits to be fashionably phenomenal. Even a person like me, who wears the same outfits every day, can become a mediocre 'fashionista'. Who knew?
♡ be like an edgy middle schooler who changes their 'hair' every day. Scarves are cheaper than your local manic panic semi-permanent hair-dye ... that's for sure.
♡ Become... invisible.....with the power of......Islam!!!
Remember, the more choices you make: the more empowered you will feel in your own skin. Your confidence will shine brighter than before. With or without a scarf, you are BEAUTIFUL!!!
