Snow ripple simulation
Simulated snowfall during a moderate wind. Snow falls from the top of the simulation into an initially empty box, and is blown by a wind moving from left to right.
Simulation performed with ReSCAL-snow (https://github.com/kellykochanski/res...) and rendered in Paraview. The snow is modelled as a cellular automaton moving within a lattice gas fluid.
