Today I tried optimizing a $79 school Chromebook for competitive gaming. Chromebooks are infamous for being some of the worst laptops you can get for the price. These laptops are built for basic tasks, not gaming, and definitely not competitive Esports titles like Fortnite. But today, I'm pushing this 79 dollar Chromebook to its absolute limits, seeing if I can optimize it enough to run Fortnite with playable performance. Let's find out if this Lenovo 100e Gen 2 Chromebook can handle the impossible task of playing Fortnite.
