Open for the 5pm (Olympics-delayed) newscast on Gray's NBC affiliate in Madison, Wisconsin, recorded on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Some time in the past week or so, WMTV dropped their longtime announcer Jeff O'Neil and switched to Mike McKay, who is better known for being the new voice for KSAT 12 since December 2023. McKay mostly does radio imaging including many Bob FM stations, and is relatively new to the world of TV affiliate work.
The graphics and "Unite" theme from Stephen Arnold Music remain unchanged.
