Fix These Common Early Career Resume Errors
One common mistake we see with entry-level resumes is creating a resume that is more than one page. Keep your resume to one page or less.
To do this, get rid of irrelevant bullet points that do not address the employer’s specific needs outlined in their job posting.
From a stylized standpoint, we recommend keeping it simple. Single column format with a common font. Avoid the 2-column format or highly stylized resumes with photos and non-standard fonts. Employers don’t like reading them, and applicant tracking systems can’t read them either.
