Questionnaires are a powerful tool in the FHIR toolkit, and the SDC (Structured Data Capture) implementation guide provides a wealth of additional functionality to make them even more useful. This session provides an introduction to Questionnaires and SDC, and how they can be used to collect data in a structured way. It covers the basics, then walk into dynamic questionnaires, validation, canonical resource management and distribution, and the many tools that are widely available now. (Including my FhirPath Lab tooling!) Learn about Questionnaires, what's in them, how to build them, how to deploy them.
The session concludes with some discussion and demonstrations of some research that my team worked on to use Generative AI to help with the designing of Questionnaires.
