In this meeting, we interview Dr. Abdelrahman AbuShouk to speak about his experience in the US residency match cycle 2023. Abdelrahman studied medicine & surgery at Ain Shams University (Egypt) and graduated in 2017. He has extensively participated in research studies and publications with our research group since his internship year and afterward. He conducted a research fellowship at Harvard Medical School and then at Cleveland Clinic. He obtained the H1B visa status and applied for a green card through the NIW pathway. Finally, he was matched to the Internal Medicine Residency program of YALE (one of the top US universities).
