Let’s talk foreskin facts because myths around it are plenty and clarity? Not enough. 👀🍆
👉 Circumcised penis: The foreskin (a natural fold of skin covering the head of the penis) is surgically removed usually for cultural, religious, or medical reasons.
👉 Uncircumcised penis: Foreskin is intact. Yup, totally normal and healthy too if proper hygiene is maintained!
🚿 Hygiene Matters: While both are perfectly fine, uncircumcised folks do need to be a lil more mindful of cleaning under the foreskin to avoid smegma buildup (a white, cheesy substance made of dead skin cells + oils).
🩺 Health Differences?
• Slightly lower UTI & STI risk in circumcised individuals
• Uncircumcised penises may be more sensitive due to the presence of nerve endings in the foreskin
• No difference in fertility, size, or sexual performance.
It’s more about personal, cultural or medical choice than “right or wrong.” Both are normal. Both are valid.
