This was is a common problem for many windshield repair technicians. Oftentimes the rock chip is located in the middle of the windshield making it difficult for technicians to see down the injector barrel as they line the repair bridge over the impact point. Well Delta Kits came up with a handy solution!
This unique tool is used for centering the Delta Kits I-100 injector directly over the impact point. It works well in location where it is difficult to see down the cylinder of the injector and ensures proper placement of the end seal over the break or chip.
Simply place the tool down into the injector barrel and gently move your loosened bridge base back and forth until you feel the centering tool enter the impact point. While holding the centering tool in place with one hand, use your free hand to tighten your bridge in that position. Your bridge and injector should now be perfectly lined up over the impact point and ready to perform a chip repair.
