1st try at a video tutorial to test out my setup. I briefly gave an overview of some keyboard shortcuts that are available when using the Type Tool in Adobe Illustrator CS6. They shortcuts given should work for prior versions of Ai.
If you incorporate these tips in your workflow, you will definitely see some improvement in your productivity when setting type in Illustrator.
