Saadia Khan Ski Championship concludes in Naltar
Saadia Khan Ski Cup concluded at PAF Ski Resort, Naltar today
In the women’s slalom category Fatima Ali of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts got first whereas Khusim Sahiba of PAF got the second position and Ifrah Wali of Gilgit Baltistan Winter Sports Association secured third position.
In the children ski competition girl’s under-16 slalom Mishal Hussain of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts got the first position while Rukhsaar of PAF got second and Eman Abbas of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts scoured third position.
In boys under- 16 Kumail Abbas of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts got first while Abdul Kalam of PAF got the second and Mubashir Alam of PAF secured third position.
In the women’s giant slalom category Khusheen Sahiba of PAF remained first whereas Ifra Wali of Gilgit Baltistan Winter Sports Association got the second position and the third position was scoured by Fatima Ali of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts.
In the children ski competition girl’s under-16 giant slalom Mishal Hussain of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts got the first position while Haleema Noor of Adventure Foundation Pakistan got second and Eman Abbas of Gilgit Baltistan Scouts scoured third position. In boys under- 16 Saifullah Masood of PAF got first position while Abdul Kalam of PAF got second position and Mubashir Alam of PAF secured third position.
The ski competition continued for three days at PAF Ski Resort, Naltar. Skiers from various Ski associations of Pakistan participated in the championship. A large number of spectators and Ski lovers from all over the country came to witness the championship. The event is named after a great young skier Miss Saadia Khan who lost her precious life in a tragic car accident at age of 24 years.
