REFRESH! REVIVE! REVEL!
Invite the lower body and back into gentle stretches then go deeper using PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) techniques. Plank holds and a cobra mega-blast for the triceps activate the upper body and core before engaging with standing isometric challenges for upper and lower limbs using the block and the strap. A long-held temple pose gives ample time to explore breath or brain balance. After a proper rest, you will emerge revitalized.
Props: 1 blanket, 1 block, strap

Gentle Flow is a trauma-sensitive resilience and curiosity-based movement class that encourages you to adapt the practice to your needs and follow what feels most right for yourself in the moment.
Suitable for movers with any (or no) experience with mindful movement, each class includes a gentle warm-up, a well-rounded movement sequence, and a guided final relaxation.
We move slowly to develop greater strength and awareness. Variety, curiosity, play, mindfulness, and breath are the tools we will use to cultivate resilience (strength + flexibility), ease, and a more compassionate relationship to self and others.
