Activating the safety system is a crucial part of the course. You must thoroughly understand this lesson. This system is activated in the event of a dangerous situation. Such situations can occur in many different ways, but they all involve loss of control of the kite. Examples include: piloting error during landing or launch, entanglement with another kite, unacceptable wind strength, the kite encountering severe turbulence, or faulty or damaged equipment.
