How to Download Aadhaar eKYC ZIP File | Step-by-Step Guide
Aadhaar eKYC ZIP file is a digitally signed XML file that contains your Aadhaar demographic details, such as your name, date of birth, gender, and address. You can use this file to share your Aadhaar details with service providers for paperless offline eKYC verification.
In this video, I will show you how to download your Aadhaar eKYC ZIP file from the UIDAI website.
Steps to download Aadhaar eKYC ZIP file:
Go to the UIDAI website (https://uidai.gov.in/)
Click on the "My Aadhaar" tab
Click on the "Download Aadhaar" option
Enter your Aadhaar number or enrollment ID and security code
Click on "Send OTP"
Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number
Click on "Download Aadhaar XML"
Enter a 4-digit share code and click on "Download"
Your Aadhaar eKYC ZIP file will be downloaded to your computer. You can then share this file with service providers for paperless offline eKYC verification.
Important: The share code is a password that protects your Aadhaar eKYC ZIP file. Do not share this code with anyone.
Additional notes:
You can also download your Aadhaar eKYC ZIP file from the mAadhaar mobile app.
The Aadhaar eKYC ZIP file is valid for one year from the date of download.
You can renew your Aadhaar eKYC ZIP file by downloading a new one from the UIDAI website or the mAadhaar app.
