Many people don't know or forget how to connect their phone to a Prius and communicate via the speakerphone (voice communication!), or hands-free. This is a very convenient feature in a car, considering that in many countries, talking on the phone while driving is often a fine.
In this short video, I'll show you how to connect any Bluetooth-enabled phone to the hands-free system in a Toyota Prius (models 04-09, fully equipped).
If you've successfully paired your phone with the Prius's control system, you can easily use the hands-free feature, meaning you can answer and reject calls without physically using your phone or a third-party headset.
Note: You don't need to connect your phone this way every time; you can simply select automatic Bluetooth connection in your phone's settings, and it will automatically connect whenever Bluetooth is enabled.
