Mordhau Estoc Gameplay, Full Match Castello Invasion (chill commentary)
Today I'm taking the Estoc out for a match of Costello Invasion! My Mordhau Estoc gameplay video features my old Estoc build that I created a few years back. I rarely use the Estoc because I feel like there are other weapons that accomplish just as much (or close eough) without the limitations that come with the Estoc.
While, the Estoc is the strongest sword to stab with, it's the same length as the Greatsword, 15cm shorter than the Zweihander, but 15cm longer than the Zweihander's alt grip. Compared to the Zweihander's stab damage, the Zweihander only out performs the Estoc for teir 2 armor...not tier 1 or tier 3...for some strange reason. The Estoc also has a faster windup and recovery, by default, than the Zweihander, and a faster combo and slower recovery compared to the Zweihander's alt mode.
Ideall, in Mordhau you'll play with the Estoc as a spear, using it to slash against very weak targets, you'll need up to 5 slash hits for tier 3 leg armor. But consiering it is a sword, you can bait a panic parry by starting a slash, and then morphing into a stab to deal the most damage upon a successful hit.
