How to Slow Down Your Speech During a Presentation
The pace of our speech determines how much information our audience can absorb.
🙅🏻♀️ If we speak too quickly, our audience will have difficulty understanding us and will simply skip much of what we say.
🙅🏻♀️ And if we speak too slowly, we risk losing our audience's attention. People will become bored and will be preoccupied with their own thoughts, not with what we're trying to convey.
That's why it's so important to learn to manage the pace of your speech and always try to stay in touch with reality and your audience. I explained how to do this in the video.
