Here’s how you can calibrate your guide to make sure your key cutting machine can cut according to the blade at the same level. The way to check it involves using 2 blanks either side to see how much of it cuts from a run. Goal is for half of the width of the key blade to be cut for a perfect cut, but even if it’s not exactly half, it works just fine most of the time.
