CLC - Hunger and the Global Environment Project: Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin
In this video, I share my experience volunteering with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, the largest hunger-relief organization in the state. They serve over 35 counties, helping ensure families have access to fresh, nutritious food.
Most of the donations come from grocery stores that would otherwise throw away food nearing expiration. But since the pandemic, those donations have dropped, and the need has only grown. Hunger is not just a local issue. It’s a global one.
Rooted in faith and driven by action, this organization is on a mission to end hunger with dignity and compassion.
Matthew 25:35 says, “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.” This is what that looks like in real life.
