This awesome side scrolling shooter like a shmup, and a vertical shooter in 360 degrees! This can be classified among the greatest shmups and maniac shooters like MUSHA, Radiant Silvergun, Ikaruga and Gradius.
Thunder Force 2 is from Technosoft and arrived on the Sega Genesis, aka the Mega Drive, in 1989. Technosoft also brought us Herzog Zwei, Lightning Force and Thunder Force III (3).
The Sega Genesis 16-Bit Mega Drive monster was arguably the greatest video game console ever made. Hits like Revenge of Shinobi, Sonic the Hedgehog and Streets of Rage all saw heavy action on the Genesis.
