Class 93's SWITCH from DIESEL to ELECTRIC Power as they START Revenue Earning Service!
After 3+ years - Great to see the Class 93's finally enter revenue service after a protracted testing and certification process. See 93002 and 93006 head into Nuneaton with a pair of Class 175 units headed from Ely Papworth sidings to Wolverton centre sidings.
The consist switches back on itself here to head southbound down the WCML - With 93006 raising its pan to take on electric current with 93002 still running on diesel power on the rear.
Great to see other than this will signal to slow withdrawal of ROG's class 37's over the next few months and years ahead.
