Godot 3 1 2d top down movement tutorial. For your 2d top down shooter, adventure and rpg games. This is a beginner tutorial on how to take mouse input and move a player to the mouse pointer. Move the player with keyboard input in 8 directions and also do basic animations and scene management. We go over the GDscript required to achieve this and I discuss the basics of godot 3.1.
