Transforming a Tiny Town into a Port Powerhouse – Cities Skylines 2
Welcome back to Sunny Isle! The tropical island city that lies on the Caribbean Sea. Today, we're tackling a series of challenges and expansions:
Economic Growth: We've made a ton of money from our textile fibre industry, but we're facing a labour shortage. With an unemployment rate of 0.1%, our goal is to boost our population by increasing residential density.
Beach Development: Check out the new beach we added in Rueben! It's one of the new features in the vanilla game and gives our town a beautiful coastline.
Taxation Strategy: To maximize our city's wealth, we adjust taxation rates for residential and offices, ensuring sustainable growth and balancing our budget in Economy 2.0.
Port Development: We lay the groundwork for a new harbour, imagining the city’s historical development around a port, and extending the land to create a natural protective bay area for cargo and passenger ships.
