In honor of Remembrance Day (4 May) and Liberation Day (5 May) in the Netherlands, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Avro Lancaster PA474 flew a tour over Belgium and the Netherlands, all the way from RAF Coningsby! With some lovely low-altitude flying it flew by some of the historic places where a lot of fighting took place in WW2. This spot is near the Grebbeberg in the Netherlands in the province of Utrecht.
Enjoy the sound of the loverly Rolls Royce Merlin engines! Especially for this occassion the Lancaster was allowed to fly 500 feet above populated terrain, whereas this is normally 1000 feet. You can see some of the great maneuverability after the fly-by.
