Luca Beatrice was born in 1961 in Turin. An art critic and curator, he teaches at the Accademia Albertina in Turin, the IAAD in Turin, and the IULM in Milan. He contributes to the cultural pages of "Il Giornale," "Tuttosport," and "Linkiesta." In 2009, he curated the Italian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
He has published, with Rizzoli, "Che arte stai?" (2010), "Pop" (2012), "Sex" (2013), and "Nati sotto il Biscione" (2015). With Baldini and Castoldi, he has published biographies of Renato Zero (2007 and 2017) and Lucio Dalla (2016), with Mondadori, "Canzoni d'amore" (2018), and with Giubilei Regnani, "Is Art Freedom?" (2020). He is married and the father of four children.
