When They Make Fun Of Your Accent...
In this video, I go in detail about the importance of getting accustomed to a native languages' accent.
Usually when I tell people this, their most common response is, "OK, this is something you do when you already know the language pretty well". The idea there is that accent is like a bonus activity, its not that important.. It might be cool to have, might be impressive but its not really fundamental to learning the language.
