Transferring Wordpress.com Followers to Wordpress.org
This video is about when you transfer your followers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org. You will have to migrate them and when you do, before hand you want to send out a blog notification to your current followers on wordpress.com saying to subscribe to your new self-hosted site with their email because they will not receive blog updates anymore unless they do. The current wordpress.com followers that followed you without their email you can migrate to your new site, wordress.com explains how I'm pretty sure if you look up how to migrate your followers from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and you don't need to pay for them to do it. Your followers that you transfer from wordpress.com to wordpress.org without their email will only see your posts on the wordpress reader unless they subscribe with their email. there are good email marketing services that i will be going over soon for now know that Mailchimp is a good route and if you don't feel like doing to much work just yet, use the jetpack plugin and add a widget to your site with the plugin after turning the subscription module on in your jetpack settings. Thank you all for watching, don't forget to subscribe to my website and like and comment. Thanks again, God bless!
