Hey everybody! I have missed you! I decided to get back into things with an art journal page based on the “GREAT” steps. Here’s the first part of the art spread.
I came up with the acronym G.R.E.A.T. for creating layered journal pages.
G = ground floor
R = repeating pattern
E = ephemera (paper of some kind)
A = art (something of your own)
T = texture
There is always wiggle room with the steps, and it's perfectly okay to flip some steps or skip a step, but going through these five thought processes makes it really easy to create a GREAT journal page. It is an easy formula for getting out of a creative block! Please give me a shout-out @abitofbirdsong if you use the formula. I'd love to see your work!
