OBS Black Screen Workaround
If you're getting the black screen instead of seeing a capture window in OBS and you've tried other ideas, here's a last ditch workaround to get you back to recording.
In essence, I'm suggesting you try to temporarily disable your Nvidia card entirely. This at least will prove or disprove that the Nvidia card is the culprit.
