With most of us not having a Cinema camera at home or in our pockets, we end up using video from devices that look good on the surface but are compressed and start to show it once we start messing with them. This short tutorial shows you how to fight against that compression when keying green screen footage.
As it was pointed out to me by u/tcollier91 on Reddit. You can also achieve this inside of Keylight by choosing the option "Intermediate". I would however (due to habit) still precompose your layer so that you have your original footage in it's own comp. But that is from an organizational standpoint. Nonetheless, if you are reading this I hope my tutorial has still helped you to think outside the box.
