Important points :
Object class is the root class of all classes in java.
Throwable class is the root class of Java Exception classes.
Throwable class has two subclasses Error and Exception.
Exception are recoverable. We can handle them.
Error is not recoverable. Programmer can’t handle them.
Exception can occur due to programmer fault.
Error can occur due to lack of system resources.

An exception is an abnormal event that disrupts the normal flow of program. it may lead to the termination of that program.

Types of exception:

1. Checked Exceptions :
It is called compile-time exceptions because these exceptions are checked at compile-time by the compiler.
Example: IOException


2. Unchecked Exceptions:
It is called run-time exceptions. These exceptions are not checked at compile-time by the compiler but they are checked at runtime.
Example: ArithmeticException
