I tried to use Blender together with two very powerful add-ons, the CAD Sketcher add-on and the Blender CAM add-on to make some simple clamps for holding down stock on the CNC table.
It is very promising, but not quite there yet. If you want to know why and how to use them, watch this video and you will get a quick start in the sketch based modelling in Blender.
In this tutorial, I:
• Use Blender CAD Sketcher to create 2D/3D sketches
• Prepare designs for CNC machining
• Generate accurate G-code with Blender CAM
• Show a complete workflow from design to milling on the CNC
