Blackmagic Design Camera ProDock, ProRes RAW & Camera Price Drops at IBC 2025
I caught up with Blackmagic Design at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam to talk to them about the new Camera ProDock, ProRes RAW implementation in DaVinci Resolve, and other Blackmagic products, and to ask about the recent price drops on some of the URSA cameras.
I asked Blackmagic Design if we are likely to see ProRes RAW being added to more of their products, and they told me that it will likely happen. The whole ProRes RAW implementation happened after Blackmagic's increasingly more tight relationship with Apple evolved. With the launch of the iPhone 17 Pro, Blackmagic thought it was time to finally bring it on board.
