The Apuseni Mountains are one of the most spectacular massifs in Romania, and we have been wanting to explore them for a long time. We spent five days on the roads and trails in the area, so we invite you to join us on a real journey! A journey of authentic nature, villages unspoiled by progress and deserted mountains, just as we wanted them. In episode two, we follow the red-band route from Muntele Mare, from east to west, on picturesque and very cycleable pastoral roads. We descend to the town of Horea where we stock up on food, then climb to Casa lui Horea, the main attraction of the area.
