Here are a few tips regarding Weapons and Armor.
1. Weapons/Armor can be forged from the workshop, and be upgraded by adding a catalyst to it 5 times. The weapons/armor will only gain their effects after the first catalyst upgrade. After this, you can upgrade each item 10 times. Each time you upgrade it, you can choose between 2 options, P.Atk or M.Atk for weapons, and P.Def or M.Def for armor. Upgrading each workshop will allow you to craft better gear, and improve them more.
2. Treasure drops come in several rarity. The highest being purple, and then pink. If it's a purple drop, it will most likely have a rating of around 15. Pink will have a rating of around 12. The higher the rating, the higher the base stats will be. Forged items can only go up to a rating of 10 before improvement. (1 rating point will usually equate to +5 stat for one or both of the stat). The E.Armor with a rating of 10 had 275 P.Def and 235 M.Def, while the armor with 15 rating had 300 P.Def and 260 M.Def. (An increase of +25 to both stats).
3. For cursed gear, you need to go to Li Li (best citizen) and get them uncursed. Some weapons/armor won't come with effects, and some will come with 1 or 2. If it comes with 2 abilities, but only one is showing, you need to unlock the skills from the workshop. As soon as you pick up the gear, all skills are set, so you can not reset the game and try to roll for better skills.
4. For gear with higher stats, you want to go to the Faraway Forest and farm them. Equip armor with the bountiful or bootyful prefix, the Extra Lucky Locket, and have the Tactic Tweaker at Lvl 2 for rare equipment.
