Insertion and Removal of a CF3 from a Snap-in Socket
The CF3 concept introduced by Sierra Wireless, and its companion product the snap-in socket, are a signficant step forward in enabling the user to test multiple types of units on a single board. The snap-in socket, when handled correctly, is a robust and flexible tool to enable this but it does need to be handled properly with units being inserted and removed correctly. Otherwise it can result in fatal damage to the lid, socket, and potentially the unit. This video walks through this process to make sure the correct procedure is applied.
