How do scientists study snakes that are preserved in jars of alcohol?
Join snake expert Ian Brennan for a little ASMR at the Museum.
Put your headphones on and listen as Ian works with a green tree python and a common European adder, and shows us how to accurately measure them.

These two snakes are part of the Museum's Herpetology collections and kept alongside some 23 million specimens in our spirit collection.
